Audition Information:
Bag&Bagagge does not offer rolling general auditions for actors. We schedule specific auditions for specific shows. Auditions are held in Hillsboro Oregon, and when announced, will be by invitation only. Each actor granted an audition slot will be given a private audition with the director and production staff. To be considered for an audition slot, actors should have previous professional experience, access to reliable transportation (or ideally be an actor based in Washington County), and be available and willing to rehearse and perform in Hillsboro.
If you are interested in being considered for a future audition, check back to this page periodically for announcements and information regarding auditions. We also generally post audition announcements to sites such as PdxBackstage yahoo group, The Oregonian’s Call Board, and our Facebook fan page. Auditions generally require actors to come prepared with two contrasting monologues, not longer than 4 minutes total. Actors will also need to be able to communicate their schedules and any unavoidable conflicts with the rehearsal or production schedules.
Actors cast in a production will be offered a competitive wage, based on the role and production.
At this time, Bag&Baggage cannot offer contracts to members in good standing of Actors Equity Association and such members need not inquire regarding auditions.

Run Crew needed
Bag&Baggage Productions Theatre in Hillsboro is in need of 2 run crew members for our outdoor "Twelfth Night." The primary duties will be moving street closure signs (heavy) before & after each performance, and helping to move set pieces (free standing door/window units) before & after the show, possibly additional simple duties during the performance itself such as being stationed on the perimeter to prevent non ticketed people from entering or moving props from one place to another backstage. Pay will be a $200 stipend after the show closes. Hired crew members would need to watch a rehearsal sometime prior to July 25. Then the job occurs from July 25 to August 14 for all tech/dress rehearsals and performances. Email our production manager, Audra, if interested; audra@bagnbaggage.org
