Love Letters

Summary

Runs: 02/14/13
Event Time: 7:30pm
Tickets: $28 all tickets.

Special Fundraising performance event for Bag&Baggage – One Night Only! Valentine’s Day – Thursday, February 14th.

Love Letters is arguably A.R. Gurney’s best-known play, performed constantly worldwide since its premiere 15 years ago. Described as both beautifully simple and frighteningly complex, the play explores two characters who sit on stage with scripts in hand, and read aloud titular letters they’ve written each other over the course of their lives. Gurney’s characters are wonderfully deep; and portraying their lives—from childhood to old age—is a true challenge for any actor. Back by popular demand, B&B Artistic Director, Scott Palmer, will star in the show, joined by the beautiful and talented Cassie Greer (last seen in Of Mice and Menand Dangerous Liaisons). Recommended for audiences aged 16 and over only.

“I have to comment on the phenomenal Love Letters reading last evening — one of the finest performances I have ever seen!”

Audiences went crazy for the 2011 and 2012 performance, so we have decided to continue the tradition in 2013! Our show of Love Letters is a fundraising events for Bag&Baggage, and 100% of the proceeds go to support your local professional theatre. Don’t miss this opportunity to see this wonderful show!

This performance will occur at The Venetian Theatre, 253 E. Main Street, Hillsboro, OR 97123.
