Audition FAQ:

Q: Do we accept video auditions?
A: If you live out of state, the answer is likely no — we don’t have the capacity to house out-of-town folks for a show, so unless you’re planning to relocate yourself to Hillsboro or nearby, we likely won’t be able to cast you. (But if that IS your plan, shoot us an email! And if you live in town and just won’t be available on the audition dates, email info@bagnbaggage.org and let us know; we may be able to bring you in during callbacks instead.)

Q: Are there any AEA contracts?
A: At this time, no: we are not able to offer any AEA contracts. (However, non-Union folks: we do pay *very* close to equity rates!)

Q: Are any of these shows musicals?
A: Though we have been known to do plenty of shows involving singing and/or dancing, none of these shows are musicals, and as a rule, Bag&Baggage doesn’t put on full-fledged musicals. Sorry, musicals fans! If this ever changes, we’ll let you know!

Q: When are callbacks?
A: We have yet to schedule a definitive date for callbacks, but they’ll likely be in June, since we are hoping to cast all three shows before the beginning of July.

Q: Where will auditions be?
A: Auditions will be at our theatrical home, The Vault Theater, 350 E. Main St, Hillsboro, OR. There’s plenty of parking around, and the MAX stops a block away, just behind our building. For more information, see Plan Your Visit.
